Eve Online Corp

Does anyone here play Eve Online? I've been a rather active member of the game for a while, me and 2-3 other friends are looking to find a Corp for PVE/PVP/Mining. Anyone in a Corp right now that is accepting applications?

There used to be a Tech Report / Cold Black Eyes affiliated EVE corporation, but I don't believe that they play anymore.

As for Eve. If you are just starting out youre out of luck. There is a huge learning curve and most of the conglomerates have everything covered. So unless you know of a friend that can get you a instant invite to a mega-conglomerate there is just no hope.

Several of us are still around, but we've moved to Solar Storm.

I loved the Eve skill system, but just found the game too boring and interface too annoying besides that.

It takes a long time to really get into the game in my opinion. I've had my toon since 2008 but I have only really started playing more recently now that I have a good skill base to actually DO things off of. I think the interface is a tad clunky, but once you get over how "dry" it is compared to prettier or fancier UI's its a well laid out system.

Also, what does Solar Storm do exactly?

I, too am still around, but I wouldn't recommend my corp/alliance unless you are a long-time eve veteran and are seriously into PvP.
