I would've thought a topic concerning this awesome game would've been posted already but I guess not. It's a 2D minecraft like game with a bigger emphasis on the gameplay vs. sandbox aspects. Version 1.06 just came out today! http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/1 ... log.50278/ and it's available on Steam for like $10. Comes highly recommended.

Yeah! Terraria was mentioned quite a lot at the TR BBQ... I like the concept of potions in the game. I'm going to make a purchase soon to join all the hype... Later, I'll search the TR forums for anything minecraft-related too... I know Dr. Fish runs his own server... I've been running my own (bukkit modified) server since day 1. Fun fun fun!

Lucky me... just checked Steam and they are charging only $4.99 for it right now (expires in 44 hours at the time of this post)... 50% off people, come on!

Only about an hour or so played so far but I agree that it's pretty cool.
There's a wiki about it too, it's much deeper than I originally thought...

I've been meaning to get a multiplayer game going but haven't taken the opportunity yet.

We host a Terraria server on the same box as our Minecraft server.

PM me for details if interested.

Anyone playing this again now that the 1.1 patch is out? It's like a whole 'nother game was added on top.

Since downloading this, I haven't spent more then 1 hour on the game total. Probably will NEVER go back to it again. Between minecraft and skyrim, there's just no time.

Ah, well if you do get some time (early next year looks pretty empty for new titles, maybe then?) I recommend giving it a real shot, it's pretty awesome.
