I remember the last Borderlands L4D2 release, people got together and bought 4-packs so the per-copy cost was cheaper, just pooled money via Paypal for one person to buy.

Any interest in doing this again?

Prepurchase price for one copy: $60
Prepurchase price for 4-pack: $180

That works out to $45 a copy versus $60 a copy.

...as I was writing this, my wife bought a 4-pack already, so at least on my end we gots 2 extra copies to offload to some unsuspec^H^H^H highly respected members of TR.

Those were the best times ever.

You know guys here at TR - you should only have ONE ride when you're goin' around places. But not, he had to have his own ride.

So it went like this most of the time.

Me: Get in, we'll get there faster if we're together.
Scrot: No, I want my own.
Me: Fine. *pause* Why the hell do you always choose the pink one?
Then I did my best to push his ride up into a wall so it was stuck. Then I'd pull out a rocket launcher. Then his ride would be little piles of smoking metal.
Me: Get in.
Scrot: Screw you, I'm walking.

So, uhh, are there still two copies left? Because I want one.

I'm in for one (some chucklehead talked me into canning my preorder and then decided to order locally). Also my landlord wants, so I can be +1.

So after a long talk, my landlord has reaffirmed his long-standing and illogical devotion to shiny silver coasters filled with encrypted uselessness. I'm dangling, but still interested in getting three more and buying a four pack.

Dropping the prices more and more as release day approaches just makes all of us who already ordered feel like morons.

Naw, it's ok Forge. Word on the street is that the owners of greenmangaming club baby seals while dumping toxic waste into the fragile arctic tundra and I wouldn't want to support a company like that. I wasn't really interested in going to anyone besides Steam, anyway, so the other cheaper prices don't really get me down too much.

All kidding aside, they have an amazing bit of SEO going. Two full pages of their website when you look up "greenmangaming.com complaints" or "problems".

No joke? Really? I think I bought Saints Row 3 through them. Geh!!
