Anyone ever play Chivalry: Medieval Warfare?

How we justify all that high-dollar hardware.

Anyone ever play Chivalry: Medieval Warfare?

This game is insanely fun.(A little hard, since it's multi player-only).

It's best described as a first-person slasher.

Take your usual first-person shooter, replace the guns with swords, maces, and spears..and set it during medieval times.

Beautiful graphics, and IMO it's very addictive.
(I've played 52 minutes so far last night, and considering I have to go to work this morning starting at 8 AM..I'm tempted to start playing but worried I'll be late for work if I do start playing.)

It's 50% off on Steam this weekend,ending Jan.28,2013.

My friends and i have been playing for a few weeks now. It's super fun. I suggest everyone pick it up if you want a game you can just jump in to and play without a huge commitment or a lot of brain work. I'd be game for playing with some gerbils if anyone wants to play.

I play at least a few matches almost every day. Very fun and I'm excited for some content updates.

Tonight is a WoW night, but I've already got it downloaded for the free weekend, so same goes for adding Steam IDs at that point.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the free weekend download to work - the link does nothing in Steam, or gives me a 302 error :(

It's a great game, but it isn't very polished. It feels like an update from the mod it was originally, not really a complete game. Hitboxes are also strange and require a lot of thought to see where they actually are; many times I would fail to block with my shield because their horizontal swing somehow hit my side instead of the shield while I was looking directly at them. It's a slower game, one that requires a lot of forethought and timing. It's quite fun to out wit your opponent with a simple fake out or to punish those without shields with an arrow to the knee.

I agree with all that. The coolest part is that it's super fun even with it's quirks.
