Two Bluetooth Adapters

Thu Oct 31, 2013 8:35 pm

I'd like to use my PS3 controller with my PC. I've read that the easiest way to do this is to use install dedicated drivers (motion joy) for a Bluetooth dongle, but that installing this driver means that the bluetooth driver cannot be used with any other bluetooth devices. I need bluetooth to use with a bluetooth headset for skype etc. and so this is not an option.

Do anyone have any experience with installing two bluetooth dongles no a single system? Ideally, I would have one bluetooth dongle dedicated to the PS3 controller and a second for use with a wireless headset.

I realize that the easiest solution is just to buy an xbox controller for windows, but with a new xbox one controllers coming out soon (and rumored to be compatible with Windows in early 2014) I don't want to sink any money into something that will soon be obsolete. There is also the issue with the Xbox controller having a terrible d-pad.

Any advice?
