Economy Games?

I've spent more attention than I'd like to admit on Pocket Trains lately, and it's made me want to explore more games that might have similar mechanics.
I'm looking games that are based on managing economies, like making money, expanding operations, but without the design details of games like SimCity. I would also be interested in games that I can set up to run on their own so I only need to manage a few times a day. I've been playing Pocket Trains on my phone, but I'd look into desktop games, too.
Not necessarily looking for everything in one package. Just curious if anyone had suggestions.
