Minimum Titanfall Requirements

Postposted on Thu Apr 10, 2014 9:22 pm

A friend of mine has an old computer and is interested in playing Titanfall. I looked it up, and his computer does meet the minimum requirements, but just barely. His components are as follows:

i3 2120 (3.3 GHz)
hd 6670 (1 GB)
6 GB RAM

Will he be able to play Titanfall, at 720p, with reasonable smoothness? I sort of suspect that he will need a new GPU...

I don't see why not. Of course it won't look pretty, but at the right settings it should be playable.

At 720p yeah it'll probably run fine. Definitely would upgrade the GPU before trying higher resolutions. The CPU isn't really that far off of a current Haswell i3, so I think it'll be plenty fast on that side.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do.

I can confirm my laptop plays Titanfall pretty well at the native res of 1366x768

i3 - laptop means it only runs at 2.4GHz
GT 650M (about 20% slower than a desktop 6670)
I hear rig lists are all the rage, and I <3 the rage! Workstation = Black tower thing; HTPC = Shhhh!; Laptop - AMAZING FOLDING PC!

I can confirm that it'll run based on this video. On 720p it should have no problem.
In my spare time I like to look at what different cards can do on certain games, haha. Well I looked up the 6670 playing Titanfall:

Its a good way to see what you can expect. He has a better processor, but, again, you should have no problem.
