Thanks for posting this. I really like the mass effect series. Looking forward to ME4 and hope my current laptop can run it smoothly. The eye candy looks pretty extreme.

Apparently you never made it to the end of Mass Effect 3. 'Let down' would be an understatement.

Yes I made it through ME 3 and while the absolute end left a lot to be desired the build up to it was too good. The thing about ME wasn't just Shepard's story but those around him/her. The really did a great job fleshing out her crewmembers back/side stories. And while the choices you made since ME1 really didnt matter in the end it was good to have choices. It gave you a sense of something larger going on.

If you just cut of the last 10-15 minutes it was gorgous, and up until that point, choices did and could carry over all three games in some ways. I only played through each ME once, but I did carry the same character from ME1 all through ME3 with all possible quests done in all three games, over 150 hours of one single playthrough. Only thing excepted was a few DLC and addon characters in ME2, I might have gotten Kasumi, but, never did, although I did get LotSB and it was golden.

Despite not behing Sheperd, if they continute with the parts that made ME great in the first place, that is, most of the things, than it will a great story.

They really just have to keep up their creative character writing and they're golden. You spend most of the time in ME working with your companions, and that's what makes it awesome- and sorrowful, in several instances.

And I could give a damn about EA just so long as they don't get between me and gaming (which would obviously be bad for them).
