PocketPC MP3 Encoder

Hi,

I have spent a fortune of time looking for an MP3 encoder for the PocketPC platform. I even attempted to port both LAME and Shine to eVC++, but drew a blank.

I would really appreciate it if anyone would let me know where I can find such an encoder, or alternatively, assist me in porting one to the PocketPC platform.

I know this can be done, as I have seen a program which does (appears to do) realtime MP3 encoding.

Any help is very much appreciated...

For what do you need real-time mp3 encoding? My only thought would be voice recording, although I think all recording software on pocket PC's uses active compression in the first place which can be converted on the PC.

I am looking for <b>any</b> encoder for the PocketPC platform. I have been very unsuccessful in finding such, and have even attempted my own ports, although I am not really very knowledgable in this particular field.

If there is a real-time encoder, all the better! However, I am looking for just about anything which will allow me to encode mp3s on the PocketPC.

Any help would be extremely appreciated...
