I'm going back to China fot the summer before college starts in August, and my aunt plans to buy me a laptop..... Now, I know there are Sony, Asus, Toshiba, even Dell in China. But do you think the 2nd generation Centrino will be out by then? I can pick any laptop I want, but it has to be a laptop that she can buy in China. Any advice?

In china, local branded laptops are generally about the same price or slightly lower as those in the states. Foreign brand(dell,HP,IBM, etc.) however seem to be much more expensive in China.
