Cell Phones

Wed Apr 21, 2004 11:16 am

Hey...

Just a quick question and not sure where this belongs...

Anyone know if there are triband cell phones out there which can interface with a PC through Bluetooth or IR or something similar... Other techie features are always a plus :D

I had looked at the N-Gage QD and I liked it, except it wasn't tri-band...

I was wondering what other high-end technological goodies were out there...

The new Motorola v600 has bluetooth, its quad-band.

other techie features-

* Integrated Camera - Take great photos in seconds and create vibrant multimedia messages (MMS). (01)
* MP3 and Polyphonic Ringtones - Hear clean, dynamic sound with the latest MP3 ringtones and rich polyphonic tones.
* Situational Lights - The cover light on your V600 glows with every call and you choose which color matches the caller group. (01)

Are you sure cellphones are safe? Can't the government control our brains through them????

No but they can slowly fry your brain and they are rolling out something called e911 which can pin point where you are and track you down (EVEN WHEN YOUR PHONE IS TURNED OFF) ala big brother.

Children children, the original poster is asking some legitimate questions regarding cell phones. Do not sidetrack that discussion any more.

I'm gonna move this thread over to Mobile Tech as it fits there a little better.

I'd recommend the Sony Ericsson T630, it's triband GSM and has the best bluetooth compatibility aside from the T68i (the standard by which most websites test against bluetooth compability). It looks pretty snazzy too.

Bluetooth, built in camera, TFT screen, polyphonic ringtones blah blah blah.
If you want a clamshell version, I'd suggest the z600.
