hi, how much does cost a notebook in your country? and were do you live?. in my country cost 1.200$ a nothebook P4 2.4GHz, 256 RAM, 40Hdd all this but a clon notebook and a P4 1.4GHz Thoshiba 1.400$
and how much a notebook with VIA procesor cost?

Haven't seen one with a VIA prccessor, but for a low end Laptop around $600US street, with rebates.

I think you can get one with the via chip(C3)..altho they are like 1gig..a good lappie will cost 1000 to 1500 depending on configuration and maker.

With a VIA chip? It's a little higher than what mattsteg is suggesting but it costs roughly US$500
