i need a PDA

I need a PDA for getting organized and besides the fact they are cool. I am looking at the e740 for $900 Canadian. Originally I was leaning towards the e330 but I decided not to go with it because it doesn't have a network card. and for $400 dollars more you get faster processor, wireless netowrking, and 2 expansion slots. What do you think?

PDA Recommend: Clie NX70

I bought and very enthusiastically recommend that you consider an Clie NX70V. It uses Palm OS5 and has both a camera (video and stills) and voice recorder. I use the 128MEG sticks.

Picked mine up on eBay for $525, plus another $30 for a good case, and got the memory sticks for $60 each or so.

I also picked up some extra software called "Documents to Go" which gives me spreadsheet and word processor capacities, although the mobile programs are much less feature-rich than Excel and Word. GPS and Bluetooth expansions are available.

I will say I'm not a fan of Sony-they are #1 on the poop-list of Parents' Television Council, I think, for objectionable advertising, but that's another story...

Question yourself real good before you buy it.
Also take into account battery life, size, accessories
and what features you NEED, and what could just be good to have.

What do you want to use it for.
Phonebook, Calender, taking notes, a few small games maybe.
Go with Palm. Usually a lot cheaper too.

Do you need to watch movies, moving some data, and other things with a gee-viz factor, go with iPaq,s or the like. But then look at what it costs.

I use a laptop for the heavy stuff, but normally does everything else with my old trusty palm 3x, 4mb.

But as always, requirements is different and YMMW.
