While sorting through an old box containing random technology stuff in my basement, I came across this PDA, new in box, never been used. Since I've never really used a PDA, nor do I have a smart phone (text messaging is about as much as I do on my phone), I thought I would fire this guy up and see what I can do with him.

There is a wireless network at work, so I have it on my desk and can do basic web surfing (only on mobile supported sites of course) and email. It has Windows Mobile 5.0, and I put in an extra 1GB storage card I had lying around.

I guess my question is, what else can I do with this thing? Skype Light and Skype for Windows Mobile is no longer available, so I guess I can't use it as a phone. Heck, I can't even figure out where to go to stream music (Pandora is not compatible) or radio over the wifi connection.

I've been to HP's web site, and there are apps there available for purchase, but I'm not really interested in spending money on this thing. Nor am I very interested in using Active Sync to my desktop/laptop. I just want to see what I can do with this as a completely stand-alone device that is connected to the Internet via wifi.

I'm not too worried about messing it up, cause I can always factory reset it, and not lose anything. I don't have any pictures, videos, music or data files (Word, Excel, etc.) on there to worry about.

Anyway, if there are some cool things that I might be able to do with this, please drop some suggestions, I'd love to hear them! :)
