Replaced my first laptop screen

It wasn't that bad at all to do. Karen's 17" Toshiba laptop had a broken screen, courtesy of her pain in the ass son, which the closest shop estimated about $250 to repair. I found the screen on Amazon a lot cheaper, so I figured it was worth a shot. Worst case we could take the screen we had already bought to a shop and just pay a reduced labor rate.
I would say it was no harder than replacing a desktop power supply. Lots of screws, but only 2 plugs to worry about. And works like a charm.
Next eventual project is to replace the screen in her son's 15" Dell laptop, which he ALSO broke.
My incentive for that one is that it becomes my laptop once it's repaired. 
(on a side note, we kicked him out)
