My G2x croaked and I'm using a Samsung Vibrant (running stock Froyo), which I can run it on there, and I have a Nexus 7 (stock JB) that I can check. I might even have a super-old phone somewhere, an LG Optimus T (running CM7.2) if I can figure out where I put it.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

I've got a Motorola Atrix (GB), and an Asus Transformer Prime (ICS) if you want me to try it out on those devices.

I got a "not responding" message on the Nexus 7. It didn't ever give a number, and I made sure the screen stayed awake, too.

Thanks for the feedback. I think it is simply spending too much time in a single native function call and that is why Android thinks it is stuck. I will attempt a fix in the next release.

This happened on my Incredible multiple times per test, but it finished each time (ran it thrice)

Well I'll give that a go. :)

off topic, does anyone notice that the phone is laggy after using it? maybe its just my phone

Uploaded a new version, hopefully fixing the "not responding" issues. Use the same URL i sent you in PMs.
Can people having issues can retest please? Others may also want to retest to see if the scores differ.

Essentially, in the old version, I was doing all the computations in the UI thread. This affected stability. I have now put everything in a background task, which should ensure system remains responsive, though I am worried this might make results more variable.

No not responding error. :) Similar results, this time 778.

edit: a 2nd and 3rd run gave me 779 and 779. The difference is that I accidentally invoked the ring where you select GOogle Now the first time...lol

736 so I'm getting similar results as the previous version. I didn't have the issues in the first place so it's all good.

My friend with the NA Galaxy S3 (running the Snapdragon S4 @ 1.5GHz) on Android 4.1 (JB) got 1077

Thanks everyone. Looks like stability issues are fixed. Will add multithreading and some other options next week.

I'd love to benchmark on a nice crappy phone (Motorola Triumph) but I'm stuck with Gingerbread :-( Interesting to see everyone's results and thanks for putting in the work for this benchmark!

672 with OMAP 4430 in my Droid 3.
As a note, the displayed number seems to be cleared whenever screen orientation changes. Or maybe that was just because I shut the keyboard...

Updated with multi-threading support (very experimental).
Same URL. Please report any issues.

Note: Ideally, you should change your "Screen Timeout" settings to a large enough value (say 10 minutes) so that the phone doesn't sleep.

About orientation changes, I will look into that.

Galaxy Note Android 4.1 (JB, CM10) w/Snapdragon S3 @ 1.5GHz
Single Thread (for reference): 727
Multithreaded (2 threads): 1370

Looks like I got scaling of 1.88x

For fun I also did a single threaded run at 0.5x stock frequency (756MHz instead of 1512MHz): 360

I'm liking this. It'll provide me an easy way to determine if I'm pushing an overclock or undervolt too far (Linpack was way too inconsistent to be of any use).

Thanks Chrono! I am hoping it works out. However, I would not be surprised by 5-6% variation between runs for multi-threaded case if there are other background tasks running.

A tester (not on the forums) is reporting very inconsistent results for HTC One X and S devices. Anyone with these two devices here? Wondering if it has to do with the firmware's thread scheduler.

Runs well on my TF300. didn't seem to bug out or have any issues. Scores were consistant between 3277 and 3352 for the multithreaded test. Note that I had the tab set to performance mode. I'll play around with this some more tomorrow, see if I can't break it :P

What the .. ? 3 threads?
Will see what I did wrong. Maybe I am using the wrong API to query number of cores.
