Bluetooth Headset

Postposted on Mon Aug 19, 2013 8:56 am

I'm in the market for a good bluetooth headset. Up until now I've only bought cheap ones with crap audio and build quality, but now I want to invest in something I can actually use for a while and works well. Price isn't really object (since I expect to keep it for a while), but I imagine it shouldn't cost more than $120. I've done my own research and so far three models stand out:

Jawbone Era
Plantronics Voyager Legend
Plantronics M50
Plantronics M55

The last two are aimed at the budget end while the first two are at the high end. Right now I'm leaning toward a Jawbone Era, but I thought'd I'd ask around first and see what others are using.

The owner of the cellphone wholesaler that used to rent the back office where I work, swore by the Plantronics Voyager series. I picked one up, and I'm happy with it.

Avoid the Jawbone ERA at all costs. Poor sound quality, and not loud enough. The tap to answer feature is really cool, but other than that it is useless.
