Linux Compatible Wireless NIC

Wed Jan 14, 2004 5:51 pm

Does anyone have a recommendation for a wireless 802.11G network card that is pretty much compatible with most current kernel linux distros? I know that is pretty broad since there are so many but specifically I mean the major ones like Suse, Debian, Mandrake, Slackware,or even Xandros. I would like something that won't require recompiling the kernel or that works out of the box.

There isn't much support out there for G cards at the moment. You might try here for information. Good luck.
