I want my iTunes 2.0 back.

3 keeps pissing me off, whenever I try to tell it to scan my network drive and build a library of all my existing mp3, it tries to copy them to my HD... I don't want them copied. 2 always worked fine this way..

Is there something I'm missing?

How'd ya fix it?

I haven't had time to screw around with it enough to figure it out.

Prefs, advanced, turn off copy to library, turn off 'keep mp3's organized' and set the music directory to my network drive...

Works great. I think they fixed up some of the id3 tag editing, and other than that, the icon is kind of more purple. :)

Didn't notice much differences.

When I got my Powerbook, it was doing that also. I would listen to Mp3s off of my file server and soon most of the mp3s I listen too were on my Powerbook.
