3rd Party Apps for Jailbroken iPhone

Mon Jun 16, 2008 10:06 pm

I'll be getting the upcoming iPhone 3G next month. I was wondering what websites, places, etc. have free/open-source 3rd party software specifically for jail-broken iPhones (games, apps, etc.)

Thats pretty cavalier to think the new iPhone 2.0 can be (or will be) jailbroken. Who knows? With the new activation scheme it may be entirely impossible.

It may be jailbroken in the sense that it'll run non-iPhone-app-store apps, but they say it'll require a contract to even buy it, so my guess is that you won't see many people try to take it to a different provider.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

I use the phrase "jailbrake" not with regard to allowing it to be activated by a different carrier, but rather with regard to only allowing full disk usage to install third-party apps. With that in mind... are there any well known sites or places to get open-source/free-ware third party apps?
