As used to be the case with iPods I've had in past, you could ordinarily access it as a disk drive and dump onto it when you needed some portable storage space. I can't seem to do this with my iPhone 3G. I can access the photos folder (it comes up as a drive/folder in My Computer), but I'm not sure what would happen if i tried to put data files (documents, files, etc.) in there. Is there any way to put files onto the iPhone just for portable storage?
