Erasing personal files from MacOS

Postposted on Mon Sep 01, 2008 7:25 pm

My mother is a teacher, and for the last year she's been using an iBook with OS X that the school gave to her. Now she must return it and get a new one, but she doesn't want any personal info -- of which there is probably a lot -- on the laptop. I don't know much about the internals of Mac OS, so can anyone recommend a good way to delete personal data and stuff?

She shouldn't have any files outside of her user folder, so just wipe that away and reset the browser. *shrug*
