So, I've read that a priori, the mac partition and files aren't accessible/visible from within the windows OS after using bootcamp. What I want to know ... does this problem also exists in the other direction - are the windows partition and files accessible/visible from within OS X Leopard? i.e. it would be a big pain in the arse if I'm working in windows, save a file in My Documents, and then go into OS X, to find I can't access and thus work on that same file. Is there a way to create a third partition that is mutually intelligible/accessible to both OS's?

Also, I've read that this program is a good way to allow you to access the OS X partition from within windows:

Are there any free options/programs that will do this? (and if the answer to my very first question above was "no"... will this program, or any others, allow access/visibility of the windows partition in OS X?)

EDIT: I guess I found the answer to the first part of my question - apparently you can read (but not write) to windows OS (NTFS) install partitions from within OS X. With that being the case, is there a mac-drive like program which will allow writing to the NTFS partition from within OS X?

I just installed this last night and while it's not direct access (i.e. not a plugin for Explorer) it seems to work pretty well. As a bonus it can read DMG's too. And furthermore, it's compatible with both x86 and x64 Windows.

That looks cool. Anything for writing to NTFS partitions from within OS X (HFS+)?
