just got back from vactaion, when ever i boot into something other than safe mode, the screen will go blue, and freeze up. any suggestions?

Yeah, you need this:

Boot into safe mode. Run this. Choose the Radeon 3800 Megalodon option. Write your EFI file. Reboot. Rejoice.
