Kindle's iPad update is shockingly nice. They really invested some time and effort into making the larger UI not just larger, but more usable, and *prettier* too. If we'd gotten that last without the former two I'd have been upset, but all three together are very nice.

Also enjoying Plants vs. Zombies HD. It's pretty much a 1:1 copy of the PC title now.

No, theres a difference. iPad apps are made/designed for the larger screen and 1024x768. Maybe we'll see more univeral apps because of the higher res of the iPhone4, but the pixel interpolation that the iPad does on iPhone apps SUCKS.

We're coming to an ugly spot. The iphone4 does strict pixel doubling on iPhone classic apps, as does the iPad. The iPad looks worse due to the lower dpi and black borders.

Also, there's no interpolation, it's a strict doubling.

I have noticed 'iOS4 updated' apps look MUCH better on the iPad than legacy iphone apps do, and using FullForce from Cydia makes a lot of them look native... but a lot of them don't work with FullForce though.

Fullforce lies to the ios and claims legacy apps are native. They either look great or break horribly, depending on how they draw themselves.
