Fri Dec 02, 2011 7:26 am

Hi,

i was playing a game in my mac pro. in the middle suddenly spinning ball appears, waited for sometime and disapper. But along with that my system also restart. Then again i started the game but there was no any stored profile details. When try to open the drive which had profile details, it was unable to access, its asking me to format. that drive is having some important files also. so, is there any way to get them back??

Boot from the OS X CD. On the Utilities menu is Terminal. You can use that to copy stuff assuming it can mount the partition.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
