Or maybe get a mobo and case that will let you fit, say, 4 GPUs in it? A few 980's together ought to load up that power supply nicely for folding. And fry your wallet.

According to this Anandtech review and the ratings on Amazon, etc, it looks to be a halfway decent unit. Was it used or new? It's always nice to have a good spare around.

That was the PSU that went bad on me. And you are right I was lucky it didn't take anything else with it.
