Wishlist: mATX version of the Corsair 250D case.

OK I have been looking at the case I linked above, and wishing that Corsair would make a MicroATX version of it.

Some improvements I would ask for:

1. Wide enough for MicroATX.
2. 200mm intake fans in the font and both sides with removable filters.
3. Long enough to take modular PSUs and 980 Ti cards with room for comfort.
4. Some other stuff I can't think at the moment.

I could care less about support for water cooling as three large fans should be enough.

So what do you guys think?

I know it's not quite as sleek, and it has a stupid side window, but I recently transplanted my dad's system into a Corsair Carbide Air 240, and it was a joy to work with.

I want the motherboard tray to lie flat with the PSU underneath it.

Look at the Air 240. You can orient it any which way, and I had my Dad's set up in just that manner (PSU on the bottom, motherboard laying flat, window on the top). Keep in mind that there are no 5.25" bays though.

OK I see, but when I saw the Air 240 before It looked like the PSU was at the top. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm liking the looks of the V359WX also. If I was in the market for a uATX case that might be it, but at nearly $200 I'd want to keep it for at least a few years.

I'm partial to the Node 304 for something smallish with a lot of drive bays, but that's miniITX.

I have to ask, but is up with cases that come 1 USB 3 and 1 USB 2 front ports? This is 2016! So why are front USB 2 ports still around?

Because the royalty rates are lower and the vast majority of the computing population (a/k/a those who are not gerbils) doesn't grok any real difference between the two.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Its 2016, why are there even USB2.0 flash drives and external hdds on the market at ALL? USB3.0 drives have reached price parity with USB2.0....of course there are plenty of USB3.0 drives that barely spec at USB2.0 speeds, yet another peeve of mine.

Back in 2013 I had to double check the specs of cases to make sure I was getting 2 front USB ports before I ordered one for my build.
It was annoying back then and it's real stupid three years later.
