SLK3700 BQE is indeed the quietest designed stock case I've ever worked it. When I've got a quiet graphics card in my computer, I'm not overvolting anything, the case is able to remove the heat very quietly.

This case, however, will not be able to dissipate tons of heat, like a dual board or something like that.

It would really be nice to know what you're planning on putting in it. I've built 5 computers recently, all in different cases. They all have their pros and cons, and systems that work well in them and those that don't.

I was planning on putting in a XP-M 2500+ and a NF7-S. I was going to o/c it but with minimum of noise. Probably 2 HD's and 1 optical drive. If you could suggest a quiter case it would be much appreciated.

One thing you can do to quiet down a case is to switch out the case fans it comes with and replace them with panaflo fans. Theye are whisper quiet and move a good amount of air. I use them in all my cases to cut down on some of the noise.

yeah, I would love a panaflo fan, I'm going to buy one when I get a fan controller, too. the 1600 is not going to be quiet, as you need to use 80mm fans to cool your system, and the 3700 series uses 120mm fans, pushing a lot more air at slower RPMs (lower noise)

I was juat about to say Panalo and then read your post hehe

Panaflo's 120mm fans move 103.5cfms at 2500RPM and 41.db.

If your fans are quiet, you want to worry about getting a case that supports grommets, such as this one, and also get some grommets.
