I've been getting brownouts (dimming lights and the occasional reset clock) for a while now, but as of late they've been getting bad enough to force my computer off. I don't really need something to keep it running when the power goes out (that's been pretty rare), just to keep it going through the aforementioned brownouts. To do this, I've been considering a Cyberpower CP1350AVRLCD ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6842102070 ) rated at 810 watts and 1350 VA. Would this unit be sufficient for what I need or over/underkill?

System:
AMD Phenom II 965 BE oc'd 3.8 GHz, Asus 890GX motherboard, Sapphire 4890 Toxic, 3 HDDs, and various DVD drives, fans, card reader, etc. connected to a Thermaltake Toughpower 750 XT, plus a Samsung 2333t 23" cPVA monitor.

The eXtreme power supply calculator specifies a min of 503 watts and redommends 553 watts for the rig if that helps any.

That's the UPS I have with a similar setup and I haven't had any problems so far. That wattage is plenty enough.

Yeah, that should be adequate.

The specs claim it has AVR, so if you're really experiencing only brownouts (and not complete dropouts) it may not even need to switch over to the battery when the brownouts occur.

Thanks for the input. When this only happened once a month I could mostly ignore it, now that it's been happening multiple times a week I've stated getting concerned for the longevity of my hardware.
