WHITE POWER (supply)

Tue May 10, 2011 9:46 am

So, I did a search for a white power supply (the results were not what I intended) and cannot seem to find what I am looking for.

I just picked up a SILVERSTONE Fortress FT03S Silver Aluminum case and want to do all glossy white components inside of it. I thought a white power supply would be easy to find but I must have looked at 300+ supplies with no luck. Has anyone seen a white modular supply? I think I will be stuck with painting one which I am okay with but I'd rather get one pre-done.

Thanks!

IIRC spray-on paint catches quite well on aluminum, you shouldn't have much trouble doing it yourself.

I know that I had a black PC case before nearly anyone else here did, and it only took me a can of matte spray paint. Result was perfect, and a professional painter I am not.

Huh, I wonder why it couldn't find that.... I like it but I want high gloss. I think it would make a good base though. It's easier to cover white with white than cover black with white.

Just be warned. Most white power supplies have shorter cables than the black ones...

In all seriousness I really do need shorter cables to keep the look clean :)

But I hear that the black cables aren't quite as stiff.

*drumroll* *crash*.
