Is Corsair CX600M 8-pin EPS a split plug?

Postposted on Tue Jul 09, 2013 5:15 am

Can anyone who has a Corsair CX600M confirm that the 8-pin EPS is a split plug so that I can use 4 pins in an ATX12V motherboard plug?

I need to connect that to an ATX12V motherboard connector and I don't think I can fit an 8 pin EPS cable without that cable splitting in two so that 4 pins can be pushed out of the way.

Thanks in advance.

That's encouraging. Just need to confirm whether the plug actually splits or whether they just intend you to use half of a solid 8-pin connector. I'm 90% sure it does.

I have components on my motherboard very close to the side of the ATX12V plug which would stop an 8 pin from fitting.

The photo in Newegg's catalog shows the split in the retaining clip.

I'm 95% now then. :)

Would rather like someone with the PSU to confirm though.

95% is enough for me though. Ordered.
