Why are Lian-Lis so hard to find/buy in the US?

Postposted on Fri May 30, 2014 10:27 am

I am looking at building a new PC and would love a Lian-Li. I am having trouble finding a trustworthy merchant with them in stock.

Any ideas why this is? Know of any other ways to get Lian-Lis?

I've never had an issue getting one here in the states. Amazon and FrozenCPU always seem to have Lian-Li cases in stock.

I found this through Lian Li's "Where to buy?" links: http://www.hampton-technologies.com/cat ... PC-A04.htm Looks like they don't have an online store but you may be able to contact them and see if you can purchase it over the phone (if they have stock).

Found this through google shopping: http://www.bluewaveteck.com/lian-li-pc- ... binet.html

As far as quality outfits are concerned I can't find that case for sale anywhere.

*EDIT* Before you go giving your credit card info to a potentially dodgy outfit, try and wait until after computex. It's possible the PC-A04 is hard to find because it's end-of-life and Lian Li is coming out with a new version.

I just got a new Lian-Li case off newegg myself, but Lian-Li seems to currently be churning through cases quickly..the one I got is already discontinued, just like the one I originally was going to get was also discontinued. To echo the previous post, FrozenCpu is a great place to get their cases and the hard to find parts for them also. I got the optional aluminum wheel set , the Sata backplanes for the hard drive trays, and the upgraded top Usb/sound/firewire hookup.
