Am I running hot!!!!????????

i d/l some cpu temperature sofware...its probably not worth a damn...but it said something about core=+2.50V....and it was red...is that bad or something.....but also it was in red....i dont think thats good....should i worry and whats a better temperature reading program...that everyone uses...even the "overclockers"....what do you all use???????

what Kind of CPU is it? What was the name of the software. It might have been wrong and then again it might have been right. Those marks sometimes fluctuate depending on what your PC is doing. Remember most of the time they are a "snapshot of a certain moment"

its a p4 1.4ghz..retail fans,retail grease,no case fans,retail fan on graphics card....the program is Hardware sensor monitor 4.0....and my system was idle when i run the test...and i have check it about 20 times and it shows its min and max....and it hasnt gotten any lower than 2.50v in an hour...but the mainboard and cpu is running around 29C....

From what I can gater from Intels site that is high. see:

But the temp seems normal.
