Just purchased a Soyo Dragon Plus mobo.
I am trying to use IDE ports 3&4 (Win ME).
I have the RAID jumper set (shorting pins 2&3), but can not get the additional IDE ports to work.

The manual stated that I should see a yellow excalmation point {device mananger/other/mass storage device} but I did not see that. I tried to load the appropriate driver from the SOYO CD but it doesn't work.

Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance.

The RAID_IDE jumper should be set to pins 2&3 for regular IDE, or pins 1&2 if you want to set up an array. The other thing you need to do is go to the Soyo Combo page of the BIOS setup to enable or disable the RAID controller there. I've used mine both ways. I'm currently running WinXP Pro on a 2x40 GB striped array.
