Asus A7M266-D: Recommended power supply?

I'm looking at purchasing the Asus A7M266-D motherboard and fitting it with two AMD Athlon MP 1900+ processors.

I've read one review that said a 300W PSU would be sufficient while another review said don't go below 400W. I haven't had much success looking through Asus's site for information on the power supply.

I plan on installing standard peripherals into the chasis such as floppy, combo DVD/CD-RW drive, zip drive, AGP card, USB 2.0 card, gigabit ethernet card, and a firewire card.

Would it be better to splurge and go for the 400W?

More power is always better (if it's a good PS) but the main thing to look out for is how much power is provided on the 5V rail. The minimum for the Tyan MPX board is 30A, I haven't looked at Asus's site to see what (or if) they say for theirs. I always get PC Power & Cooling PS's for my machines and when I eventually get my MPX board it will be powered by no less than the Turbo Cool 475 (but I also have lotsa SCSI drives for it to power, too). Someone else may be able to point you to a less pricey PS of fairly high quality.

Antec PP-403X, or the PP-412X. 400 Watts of clean power goodness, the difference between the two is that the 412 has a P4 4-pin 12V rail, while the 403 does not. If that's not enough, I believe they also manufacture a PP-510D, which is 510 watts & has the special 760MP 6pin connector.

Definetly don´t get a 300W, some 300W PSUs wouldn´t be capable of running a SINGLE XP1900+ even together with an average system, and we all want SOME margins.

Get a 400/431/450W or better, but 400W should be minimum as I´m considering 350W to be "suitable" for most new systems(Duron systems can easily get away with less though).
