I need help

I'm installing or trying to get the sound to work on this ASUS mobo that is not letting me install the onboard sound. I have installed the patches from ASUS for the chipset (VIA). The thing installs but the damn audio doesn't work. Sorry for the bad description but I"m tired....also i'm on installing it on 2k.

Kti33 one...not to mention the thing has nothing in the mobo bios about the sound. It just doesn't work....

The CD that came with your mobo didn't have the correct driver??? If that is the case i would get ahold of Asus tech support to get some answers...
