Got an 875K last year and happy with it even on stock - I was planning to overclock, but as nothing is pushing it I thought "what was the point". I'll OC when it's starting to struggle of course.

Sandy Bridge looks awesome, but due in part to money, will look forward to Ivy.

I might skip over my current 1090T build and into a intel build soon as they refresh the i7 lineup.

Does having a Mac count in this arguement?

Quite happy with my white 2.4GHz Macbook although due for an upgrade in a month or so to a MBP.

Shouldn't there be a new Macbook that uses Sandy Bridge pretty soon?

I haven't upgraded my rig for quiet some time, 3 or 4 years. Still so far my C2Q 6600 is not struggling
in most task. I think that I can still wait and see what Bulldozer brings to the table.
