Not sure what to make of it. It's rather corny to me, but it could be a clue as to what FX will bring to the table.

All : Thing is, I notice that AMD's been more focused on blogs and these silly comic strips lately. It's all fine and dandy if their CPU lineup is giving Intel tough competition. And by 'tough', I do mean TOUGH. But with the way things are, with Phenoms and Athlons lagging so far behind the performance curve, I kinda wanna tell them to just concentrate on trying to make their CPUs catch up rather than wasting resources with these silly marketing exercises. Or are the marketing guys simply just eager to do something while the engineers try to sort BD out?

Well, their marketing guys can do this stuff, or they can sit and do nothing. Regardless of what marketing does, its not going to help with the CPUs. Its not like they have 10 general purpose people that they have to divide between marketing/community interaction and engineering.
