I've seen a lot of talk about using a C3 933 in a SV24 and since I'm looking at building a media server type deal with the SV24 I started looking for the Via processor. Unfortunately though I see no mention in either Pricewatch or Newegg about the 933. Now right now I'm guessing that most being used in reviews are pre-release type jobs but I just wanted to make sure. So has anyone seen these for sale yet? And are they that much more quiter then an alternative P3?

Hi,

FWIW, I've only seen C3's at 750MHz (100MHz FSB) and 733MHz (133MHz FSB) here in the UK.

Although this page suggests that they exist at 933MHz....

So Far I've seen up to 866, but if there's a 933 out there I would rather not settle for an 866. Also a little background for what I want to build the SV24 for is this.

Primary function: MP3 server hooked into my
Sony receiver, file server.
Secondary: Possible Win2k DC, webserver,etc
basically whatever it can handle
without detracting from its
primary job.
