I might spend about $400 on my next system build, since I already have SSDs to throw in and it'll be an mATX box. The most I'd spend a new proc is likely 150. Intel chipsets (except with the EXTREMEly expensive motherboards with more crap you'll never use than you can shake a stick at) are crap on SATA6 ports too. I'll have to piecemeal it at first so the vidcard will come later, but the Intel GPU is completely useless to me once I have the new vidcard.
So yeah, it might be worth it to people who already like Intel and are invested in the high end market, but to me? Not even a little bit, so far. We'll see if things change down the road.
