ok im starting a project computer soon (keyword project), so Im looking for a cpu thats cheap and will overclock very well. right now i have my eyes on a duron 1.2gig, but im not sure of the overclocking qualities of it. How do the newer celeries overclock?

Keep in mind that im extremely poor, and not really interested in pure performance, what CPU's would you people suggest?

thanks.

I believe most people are getting the Celeron 1.0A up to 1.5Ghz easily. Xbitlabs had a really good article on overclocking this particular chip.

Go for the durons ! even if it's not overclockable as much as the celeron (not sure about that) the performance will be greater.

People are getting good results out of P4 Northwoods, especially the 1.6A and 1.8A. Pricier though....
