Issues with SSL and security certs:

Fri Jan 04, 2008 12:54 pm

My company has purchased a secure certificate that covers all of our domain. We have other site under that main site, sometimes redirected via the headers in IIS, sometimes straight through http://ourdomain/theirsite.

Firefox doesn't care about all my hijinx, it correctly reads the certs, and checkout / secure CC processing occurs. IE7 pitches a fit and turns the page into a 404-esque page the first time, if the user reads and actually continues on (unlikely) then they get the red "insecure" bar, even though my cert is legit. Any ideas why?

I changed the site to always redirect to ourdomain/theirsite so the domain is even constant now, yet in ie7 I still get the "LOLZ NO" page.

Resolved: I am stupid.

The site's cert is for http://blah.com/whatever .... I was pointing to http://www.blah.com/whatever -removed the "www" and success.
