For the longest time I've never learned how to use tables effectively. I mean you go to sites that use them for their entire navigation display or whatever. I'm finally realizing that if I don't learn tables (beyond column and rows) I'm never going to get my site to look the way I want it. So can anyone help me out or direct me to somewhere that could help me?

I have found that a pretty good way to learn about various aspects of HTML is to go to a site that does the sort of thing you are interested in learning, and read the HTML source for the page!

If you didn't already know about it, the Web Developer's Virtual Library is probably my first stop with a HTML query...
I'm sure you'll find what you need in there...
