If anyone experienced something similar to what is described below. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Form control description
-Printer options
-Non-resizable
-Contains check boxes.
-Buttons to open system printers window and select printers
-Form control is by AcuTerm GUI
Issue
-Intermittently when opened the entire form shrinks to the width of about 1 inch.
-App hangs. Need to use task manager to terminate.
Knowns and Unknowns
-Multiple Windows 7 32 bit computers affected.
-I have not witnessed it myself nor was able to reproduce but have a screen shot provided by the end-user.
-Event viewer does not have any warnings/errors that could be dimmed as related.
-No issues with printers as far as I know.
-Only one form does it.
-No recent changes/updates in the system except the offending app which was updated a few months ago.
Potential suspect(s)
-IRIS Scan by HP.
-Security apps.
-Bad printer driver.
-Bad network connection to the printer.
