A coworker of mine brought in his Shuttle cube because it is showing some strange modem behavior. It is an early model with a P4 1.7. We have disabled wake-on-modem and lan in the bios (and checked all the other setttings) and the thing still powers on when the phone rings. Also, with the pci modem installed, the thing boots up as soon as the power cord is inserted but it doesn't do this without a modem installed. We have tried two known-to-be-good modems - same thing.
Any thoughts on this or seen similar behavior with your cube?
