Pardon my ignorance, but

I accidentally ordered a microATX motherboard, but don't know if it will fit in my extra mid-tower case. It seems like it should, and I don't really care what size the board is. Are there any good reasons to refuse delivery and order an ATX sized board?

Edit: yes, it will fold

other than to save you some $$, no there isn't really any reason that I can think of...the microATX is not inherintly worse than ATX...if you odnn't need the extra features, than more power to you

Well, you'll have a couple of slots in the backplate of your case with no corresponding motherboard slots (or even motherboard) behind them (microATX only has 3 PCI slots). You may or may not be able to line up all the mounting holes in the mobo with spots in the tray in the case, thought that shouldn't be a big deal.
