just been looking at this:

If that's right then I might pick one of these babies up for myself!

If you're going P4 I would suggest not going with an SiS based motherboard. IMHO, I've never seen anything good come from them. Performance with SiS chipsets seems to have always been under par and I've seen several compatibility problems. SiS boards have always been cheaper. I tend to believe you get what you pay for. Of course, I wouldn't pay $500 for a graphics card. That's just nuts.

To answer your question, though, yes, that's all you'd need except maybe a monitor. If you already have one then your list is complete.

could you suggest a better SSF barbone kit for a similar price??

I'm not sure what your price limit is but if you want to stick with Shuttle here is one with an Intel chipset:

Small form factor barebones tend to be more expensive than a full size ATX based one. You are basically paying a premium for it's smallness. If you have decided to go with Intel, though, defninitely stick with an Intel chipset. You may be paying a bit more for it but will have fewer headaches down the road. It kind of makes sense to buy a motherboard with a chipset that was made by the same company who made the processor. Fewer compatibility problems.

Yeah I guess you have to pay for the size.

Im gonna stick up for SiS here bc i have an old P4 system (2.0A) using an Asus P4S333-m board which is based an a SiS chipset and it is rock solid, has been for about umm...its almost 3 years old now (wow is it really that old???)? Now only that, but it was one of the first, if not the first, board to support PC2700. Never had any issues with it.

That being said, i dont know how there current chipsets fair compared to Nvidia's, Via's and Intel's.

SiS isnt attracting me also... For Intel the Intel chipsets are the best, but VIA or nVidia is alo rocking
