Gigabyte SilentPipe 6600GT in my SN95G5 - Pics Galore!

Hey guys! Just upgraded (AGAIN!) to a SN95G5 V2. I decided to purchase the Gigabyte SilentPipe GVN66128VP AGP card.

First, the juicy stuff. The card runs at 64C Idle, and get's up to 85C under load. EDIT! I loaded the latest Gigabyte BIOS, and now the load temps are 75C max and 64C idle. I played a 2 hour session of UT2K4 last night (on the TR UT2K4 Server!), and it reached 85C. Not bad for a silent card stuffed inside a little XPC Oh and forget about the PCI slot, it gets blocked!

The one heatpipe barely touches the end of my Samsung DVD-RW drive, but it does not effect performance.

Looks good. I put a MSI into my shuttle. However I need to modify the BIOS (hex edit) in order for the temp display to work. I have yet to get around to it. I'm sure using the Silent Pipe drops the noise a lot.

Oh yeah, it's really amazing home quiet this is (this XPC is quietest I have owned, by far). Of course it will be a little louder if I decide to do a blow hole, but the temps are reasonable so I may not have to

B.T.W.....my GPU's hang out around 84-84C while gaming......with the noise of their fans, and NOT crammed into a Shuttle sized case. I'm a little envious.

Yeah but you are running 6800GT's. I assume they are hotter than 6600GT's. Right?

I am really liking the 6600GT. I can't believe how well it runs Doom 3. I can easily run Ultra Mode at 1280 res at close the 60 FPS all the time.
