Shuttle + TV = Problems

I bought a Shuttle SN41g2 for my step daughter to use in her entertainment center. I've hooked up a half-dozen Shuttles with various TVs and have always been able to find a resolution that worked.....until now.

The font is too small and lury. The tool bars are huge...

I remember a third party program that helped me years ago, but cannot recall its name. What do you guys use to get your HTPC's to work withy uot TV in a way that it functional?
